Derwydd Hydro 15 kW
LLANFIHANGEL G M, CORWEN, DENBIGHSHIRE
Originally installed in 1982 as a switch-over system, this hydropower system was given a complete overhaul and is now grid-connected and powering the farm at Derwydd.
PROJECT OVERVIEW- Flow controlled by 2 spear valves.
- Directly connected induction generator and SCS control system.
- 1 x 15 kW unit.
- Remanufactured Pelton turbine.
- Commissioned 2012.
